The Digital Library of India (DLI) was a grand project aimed at digitising all copyright-free books and manuscripts in Indian languages. It actively partnered with the Million Book Project to scan hundreds of thousands of historical and cultural titles via key institutional hubs. The University of Delhi also participated in this project in 2006, and thousands of DULS books were digitised.
